| The
criteria for acceptance into Taos Select are:
1. The artist must have
lived in Taos County for three (3) consecutive years.
2. The artist must reside in Taos County at least 75% of each year.
3. Artist must be accepted by juried submissions.
4. Artworks must be original and have been completed in the last 12
months.
5. Submitted artworks must NOT have been exhibited in any retail or
public showing.
6. Original Work must not exceed 52" longest dimension when framed.
This includes triptychs and diptychs, which in total, must be within
the 52" maximum size.
7. Artist must make online art submission.
Art
Submission Guidelines for Taos Select Artists:
Deadline for submission of work is July 31, 2011.
Artist must submit a 100 word Artist Statement (will be used in artist
catalog)
Submit up to 3 images (JPEG; 72 dpi; 600-900 pixels widest dimension
Work submitted will be actual work picked for the Show
$10 submission fee on Pay Pal during submission (Pay Pal account not
required)

FEES
AND DELIVERY OF ARTWORK
Artists who
have received an invitation to Taos Select, must sign and return
the acceptance form no later than August 26, 2011. Along with the signed
acceptance form they must include payment as follows:
PAYMENT OF FEES:
a) $20. fee for each
piece of accepted artwork up to two,
b) jewelry $25 for up to 10 pieces,
c) one oversized entry $50,
d) no fee for miniatures.
e) Please make out checks to TFAF.
f) Late fees apply after August 26, 2011 (See invitation letter).
DELIVERY
OF ARTWORK ONLY
ON Monday September 19, 2011, 9am - 5pm.
Artists must complete and sign an entry form to be submitted with the
uncrated and ready to display art. Artists must also bring their copy
of the Invitation to show they were invited. Oil paintings
must be totally dry to be exhibited.

may have a representative deliver your art, bring the entry form signed

not picked up, this work will become the property of Taos Fall Arts
Festival, Inc. Pickup will be on this date only. You may have a representative
bring your receipt and pick up your art for you.
