REPRESENTATIONAL
PAINTING & DRAWING: Wet
and dry media. Works created in oils, acrylics, watercolor, washes applied
by pen or brush, pastels, chalk, charcoal, pencil and wax crayon are all
in this category. All work must be dried and ready to display. Wet art

CONTEMPORARY PAINTING & DRAWING:
All abstract/non-objective artwork in wet and dry media. Works created
in oils, acrylics, watercolor, washes applied by pen or brush, pastels,

MIXED MEDIA:
Combinations of varied art media within one art piece in 2-dimensional
and 3-dimensional form.
CERAMICS: All original clay, and
porcelain works, other than jewelry, are acceptable in this category All
work must be original. No forms of mass production are permitted.
GLASS: All original glasswork,
other than jewelry, is acceptable in this category. Glass entries include
both 2 and 3 dimensional works where glass is the main emphasis. Stained,
blown, slumped, cast, and kiln-formed glass will be accepted in this category.

REPRESENTATIONAL PHOTOGRAPHY:
All photographs taken with any type of camera or digital capture. Includes
photographic prints made using either traditional darkroom or digital
printing methods. Must include a single recognizable subject and may have
had minor aesthetic alterations such as removing unwanted elements, reflections,
and the like. All artwork must be framed or gallery wrapped and ready
to hang.
ABSTRACT PHOTOGRAPHY:
All photographs taken with any type of camera or digital capture. Includes
all photo-montage images. All work where the artwork as a whole does not
have a single recognizable subject or where elements are repeated. All
artwork must be framed or gallery wrapped and ready to hang.
FIBER:
All work crafted from fibers. This includes basketry, embroidery, weaving,
leatherwork, tapestry, beadwork and paper.
No machine tooling, machine-screened patterns or other forms of mass production
are permitted.
FURNITURE:
Handmade, one-of-a-kind items only. No production work is allowed.
GRAPHICS AND PRINTMAKING:
Printed works in which the artist’s hand has manipulated the plates,
stones, etchings or screens and then properly signed and numbered them
as a limited edition. Monotypes, serigraphs, wood and linoleum block prints
are included in this category.
JEWELRY:
Includes all jewelry or body adornment. Metal, glass, clay, fiber, paper,
plastic or other materials are included in this category. Lapidary work,
lost wax, and sand-cast items are also included. All work must be an original
piece. No forms of mass production are allowed.
MINIATURE:
(Invite and Masters Only, not judged) Artwork must be from one of the
listed categories and includes both 2-D and 3-D work. 2-D art must have
no more than 14”X14” outside framed dimensions and sculpture
may be no more than 8” tall, excluding the base.
SCULPTURE:
Three-dimensional original work done in any media. Non-religious Bultos
are also in this category.
Works in wood, stone, metal, bronze, composites, fiberglass, carving,
modeling, welding, and assemblage are included
DEVOTIONAL ART:
Santos, bultos, retablos, relief carvings, icons and any art which has
a religious theme or focus.
KIDS’ ART:
Only in the Open Show and not judged. These are artworks entered by kids
and displayed on a special wall.
